Leslie Madden joined Moderna as one of its first Canadian employees in early 2021 as the Senior Director and Head of Regulatory Sciences & Quality Assurance (QA) for the Canadian business. In this role she is responsible for providing leadership and strategic oversight of the development and registration of Moderna’s mRNA-based medicines for the Canadian market.

Leslie has more than 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector in both Canada and the US. She holds a BSc from York University, an MBA from Rotman School of Management, and a Global Professional LLM from the Faculty of Law at University of Toronto. She is a member of the Rotman Healthcare & Life Sciences Advisory Board and participates in the adMare Academy Executive Institute.
