After graduating from the Ivey School of Business, Lauren started her career on Bay Street in investment banking with TD Securities and then at TorQuest Partners, a leading Canadian private equity fund. At TorQuest, Lauren helped entrepreneurs and management teams develop and execute strategic plans to grow their businesses. Lauren’s career led her to Drop Technologies, a fast-growing Canadian technology start-up in business operations. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for women’s health, Lauren was intrigued about Uresta when she first learned about the product. Uresta is a solution for stress incontinence, a condition that impacts 1 in 3 women and one that Lauren passionately feels is a massive quality of life issue. Lauren was shocked at how common urinary incontinence was and how archaic the over-the-counter solutions were. Uresta is the only solution that is highly accessible and offers women an improved quality of life.
Lauren partnered with the founding physician of Uresta in the Fall of 2020 by joining as the Chief Financial Officer. Lauren was shortly promoted to CEO in 2021 and began revamping the company’s strategy and go-to-market plan. Under Lauren’s leadership, Uresta has grown significantly in Canada over the last 2 years and is in the process of expanding to the US.
