Director of Health AI Implementation
Azra Dhalla is the Director of Health AI Implementation at the Vector Institute – one of Canada’s leading institutes dedicated to research in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), excelling in machine and deep learning. She is responsible for driving health AI deployment within the Ontario health care system in order to improve patient outcomes and health care delivery. Azra has over a decade of experience at the intersection of healthcare and technology with globally recognized leaders including the Hospital for Sick Children, the University Health Network and the Aga Khan Development Network. In a volunteer capacity, Azra works with the Women’s College Hospital Foundation leading fundraising and advocacy programs to support and build awareness of hospital services. Azra has an MBA with a specialization in Health Services Management from McMaster University and is a certified project and change management leader.
